“ So so good the place is clean, it's open late, staff is AMAZING. The service is WONDERFUL and everyone is so so caring. The food, amazing, amazing amazing amazing. I can't get enough, this is my go to place when wanting hotpot and we've been twice and it is just as good as the first time. ”
“ Wow the service is top tier! The food is very elegant with a great flavor. The noodles have a profound flavor as long as you keep them cooking for about 4 minutes. The air is just so welcoming and it's also all you can eat which makes this place even better this hot pot restaurant is way more superior then any other I have been too. ”
“ OMBU Hotpot is such a gem in South Salt Lake! Perfect lunch and dinner spot to fill your tummy with yummy, delicious food. For such an affordable price of around $25 per person, you can enjoy unlimited meats and add-ons from the self-serve bar! The bar itself is huge and packed with a variety of options! The interior is beautifully decorated, showcasing Chinese culture and setting a nice atmosphere for your meal. The service was great, servers were attentive and friendly. The menu itself is extensive allowing you to order meats and appetizers on an iPad which makes it super convenient. Some of my favorite appetizers are the takoyaki and fried wontons. The broth itself was delicious! You can order a big pot for the table to share or your own individual pot, our party opted for the individual ones so we could choose our own broths and cook what we wanted! ”
“ OMBU is such a steel especially for an AYCE spot! We went during lunch, and it has such a great selection of ingredients (even a dessert bar) especially for the price; I paid less than $25 for the duo small hot pot! I recommend this place for an affordable hot pot meal with good service. ”
“ All you can eat! I reserved for my party of nine as we were in SLC for a ski trip. Entering in is a bit chaotic--lots of people waiting in line (but on a Friday) and the buffet station is in front of the establishment. Small drink fridge to the right and to the left are 2 small sauce stations. We had to wait about 15 minutes until we were seated. Even though we had 9 people it was a table of 8 individual stoves, so that was awkward. I ended up just sharing with my boyfriend at the end of the table. You order all the meats with the iPad. The stand out items were the beef tongue and one type of fatty beef slices (not sure what it was called on the menu). They were a little slow bringing out the meat but it was all good in the end. You get to grab other things like veggies and seafood in the buffet. I also really liked the fried bread dessert with condense milk. That was freshly warm and crispy! Overall really solid spot! ”
